In the year 2009,Earth is in a secret war against the mysterious Space Beasts, unknown organisms which feed on human beings. TLT, a top-secret international defense organization, was humanity's last hope against the Space Beasts. The story revolves around, and is generally narrated by Komon Kazuki, a new recruit to the TLT's battle team, Night Raiders. On his way to the TLT Headquarters, Komon is attacked by a Space Beast. Luckily, he is saved by a mysterious silver giant known as Ultraman Nexus. As Komon steps deeper into the true reality unknown to other people, mysteries surrounding the Ultraman and his mysterious foes is revealed. Humanity's final fate will be determined by the bond of Light, Nexus.

Mebius is a rookie Ultra Warrior and has a lot to live up to. He is chosen as the new protector of the earth. This series is set in the same universe as the original timeline; when Mebius first appears to fight a monster, it is mentioned that this is the first time an Ultraman has appeared on earth in 25 years. Under the guise of Mirai Hibino, Mebius joins CREW GUYS, the monster attack force of this series. At the start of the first episode, all of the original team members of GUYS, save Ryu, are killed off in their first monster battle. Mirai gathers a group of people he meets in an evacuation to join the new GUYS because he feels they have the right heart to be on GUYS.

20 years ago in Japan, the 4 Ultra brothers Ultraman, Seven, Jack, and Ace were fighting a deadly foe known as Yapool. The brothers were barely able to defeat Yapool but the monster still needed to be sealed. However, to seal Yapool away they were forced to give up the ability to transform, and took up jobs to be in the area of Kobe in case the monster ever returned. 20 years later Yapool is risen from the sea again by alien allied forces, and Mebius must fight the aliens and Yapool. But when Mebius is about to lose, the Ultra brothers come to aid Mebius in his battle against Yapool and the Aliens... The setting of this movie takes place during the middle of the Mebius series. All members of Crew GUYS Japan are present in the movie, and Leo and 80 are not mentioned or shown. The actual placement of the movie in the order of the series is not explicitly given. The beginning of the movie's events is presumed to take place after the 80 series.
